Hi everyone. I have a problem with my bronze Tom. I noticed he had mites on his tail. I dusted him and the mites dissapeared, but now he has yellow scabs. are these the result of the mites? Also, he has gray grainy stuff at the base of the tail feathers. I am just trying to figure out if I got rid of them. He is free range.

I don't know much about how to treat mites. I do know that you need to make sure your chickens can dust bathe.
