MBTI Personality Test, Anyone?

I took it earlier, but didn't have a chance to post. I pretty positive it has changed a lot since I took it years ago, but I feel like it's inaccurate. Reading through everything, I could relate to some of what it was saying, but on others, no. I feel like the biggest issue I was having with this test is there were several questions I didn't quite understand, plus I couldn't put any situations to the question to help me better answer it. (Also, I think I do a lot more "Feeling" than it says I do. According to this, I'm one tough, logical person.)

It's been fun to learn about. I'm not normally the type to like labels (as such), but it's helped me to understand why I look at the world the way I do.

You got more introverted and more stressed out! Uh oh. Have people started showing up at your house for a New Years Eve party??
I'd give them a look and inform them there is no party. Please take your shenanigans elsewhere, I have grinding to do in p3r and my ramen and tea are getting cold. I'm not shy nor have social anxiety, I just prefer to be by myself most of the time :D
(That and I get a bit irritable if I don't get time by myself. I am friendly but very much independent and a lone wolf)

I don't believe so. Is there one you recommend?
Honestly I don't recommend any iq tests lol. I think they're pretty useless for the average joe. Anything you find online was probably made to boost the egos of some crusty little neck bearded nerd who lives in his mother's basement.

The percentage reflects how certain you are, not the amount of use of that function.
So you are 53% certain you use logic rather than ethics / morals to make most of your decisions.
That's only 3% more than you are certain you prefer "feeling" aka ethics / morals.

* Note: Almost all people feel emotions, some more or less often (or intensely) regardless of personality type.
The "feeling" function is about how one mentally processes emotion, which is critically tied to values like Ethics and Morality.
** Fi (introverted feeling) focuses on Ethics - hard and fast rules that are true no matter what. Derived from personal feelings and judgement without external reference (what others feel).

Fe (extroverted feeling) is focused on Morality - rules based on the emotional impact on others, so it adapts to changing circumstances.

INTJs have Fi as their tertiary function. They tend to use it as a backup reasoning but not the main way they make decisions. Their well of emotion runs deep and narrow.

Wow, that makes a lot a lot of sense, and I'm relating to it a lot better than some of what I was seeing when I read down through everything. Thank you for that and thank you for taking the time to type all of that out. (And yes, there are definitely some rules that I hold on to probably a bit too tightly. Just ask people who know me, I don't budge easily.)

There is certainly a relief and sigh when we can normalize or positively label a part about ourselves. I recently learned (after 50 years and much grief) that I have misophonia. I can’t stand gustatory crunching, smacking, or chewing noises since early childhood. I just found I am not the only one… this is a common aversion! Certainly it still bothers me, but I have adapted and become more tolerant over the years.

I would consider myself introverted for most of my life, but that has changed as I’ve gotten older. I am no longer afraid any more of social rejection. I am making random conversation with people in elevators. I make comments about the new cafeteria coconut water and people respond. Seriously. Would have never have been been me before! I had significant childhood social phobia that has evolved into fearlessness socially and at work.

The nature of consciousness is still a great unknown…perhaps quantum wavefront theory. If so, we have synergistic minds that are not just a product of genes and upbringing. A personality test acronym cannot define who we are throughout our lives. Things change including us.

It can be fun to generalize, but don’t let these tests define you.
