I stopped eating the mcrib and chicken nuggets when it felt like it was meat pieces glued together. You can eat a pork roast, or chicken breast and you can tell it is one piece of meat. I can't stomach it anymore. I still eat fast food, especially since I work at one, but not the frankenfood.

It is. It is 'reconstituted' meat.
The only fast food I can do these days is In N Out and Arctic Circle. They are the most affordable here too. I couldn't believe some of the fast food burger prices. X) Mainly though, I like In N Out's treatment of employees, such as fair wages. People were camping out to apply when one opened up in our area. And dude, watching them cut unfrozen potatoes for fries, and adding actual milk to their milkshakes? Priceless.
The only bad thing is that even though they have an extremely limited menu (double burger, cheese burger, burger, fries, shake...all one size)...people still manage to sit there for an hour going, "uuuuummmmmmmmmmmm, I'd like, ummmmmmmmmmmmm". If they ever find out about the secret menu, I'm surely doomed to starve. x_x
Yeah, punk -a-doodle, I definitely know how expensive it is. When I press total for customers orders I about have a heart attack, and I'm not the one paying! I double check to see if I rang it up wrong.
And I knew it was reconstituted, but I couldn't believe I ate it as a kid. Must have been for the toys!!!
Mc Rib? You mean Mc Coronary !! My blood pressure is normally 118/81. If I eat one of those the nitrates in it will make it shoot up to 164/112! I won't touch one with a 100 ft. pole!
They taste fine to me. When people say it only has this much meat in it its because it has other things in it too like wheat or tofu to be cost effective. I eat fast food 3 times a week and it tasted just fine to me.
