McDonald's finally did something right

I don't understand your comment. Cage free and organic eggs are available in most stores.

He is in Canada.

I know. They have such things in Canada too...

I'm talking about premium beef hot dogs in a natural casing. Real sausage that comes from the butcher shop, not some "sausage like" product that you find at the grocery store.

That would be a sausage link.

Honestly, I don't believe McDonalds is dropping that supplier for health concerns, I believe they are dropping the supplier for bad advertisement concerns.
If they wouldn't had the news story on national television regarding the food quality from that supplier, I'm sure McDonalds wouldn't care about the quality as long everything was legal with the supplier.
McDonalds doesn't want to have their food linked to any news story of unhealthy food supplier, because they know that will scare off the customers.
In my opinion, it's all about the business and not the morals in this story. Even the official statement for their "reason" it's a business statement. The customer finds it a lot more appealing and probable feels more safe to buy food from a company that “cares” about the humane part in the food industry.

Of course it is!!! Again, it is a good thing they are dropping that supplier. Hopefully the next one will be monitored. If not? The company still made a good choice no matter how that decision came about.

Naw, Canada and the US are pretty much the same when it comes to the availibility of organic eggs in a grocery store.

I agree with you.
McDonalds is a valuable customer to any chicken and egg supplier, and this story, I'm sure will put the next supplier on their guard and perhaps take better care of their "product" so they wouldn't loose the buyer (McDonalds).
