I received an Egyptian Fayomous roo the first time I checked the box for a freebie. The second time I took a free rare chick I got a Partridge Cochin roo. I've ordered from MM many times and was always happy with the chicks and the service.

Their catalog is my favorite, they put so much effort into it to let us newbies know exactly what to expect when we order a particular breed. But, I have heard conflicting opinions on here about them, and their shipping practices (not their fault, PO dictates) but I still would rather order from them than anyone else . . .I am glad to see other happy buyers here today.

I got a buff cohin pullet - I'm sure that was an accident though because half the pullets I ordered were roos!
