I keep reading about everyone getting "packing peanuts" in their orders. Does McMurray do this as well? I have 36 chicks coming and wouldnt mind a few packing peanuts.

I have gotten as many as 5 extra roos in a McMurray order, back in the spring, and when the weather got warmer, just one extra not counting the "free exotic/rare" chick.

On 7/24/08 I got exactly what I ordered plus the free exotic chick. I was very happy with them.

On check out you have the choice if you want a free rare chick included in your order by checking a box. We received a white cochin rooster and a buff rock rooster. I'm not sure if they never include any packing peanuts if you don't check yes you want a free rare chick.

I think that only happens in the winter and early spring, when it is cold and when they have extra birds.

I ordered mine back in April and they sent me 1 free Australorp and 1 free rare chick.
