Hi,

New to chickens and we just received our order from Murray McMurray today! (Easter Sunday!) This is our first order from them and we are very pleased with the service that we received and with the chicks.

We ordered:
15 Jumbo Cornish x Rocks - Hens
5 Bantam Partridge Cochin - Straight Run
5 Bantam Mottled Cochin - Straight Run
5 Bantam White Crested Black Polish - Straight Run

Ordered for a Friend:
3 Bantam Light Brahma - Straight Run
3 Bantam Dark Brahma - Straight Run

Free Extra Chicks:
1 Jumbo Cornish x Rock - Hen
1 Bantam Light Brahma - Straight Run
1 Mystery Chick
1 Silver Polish chick

All are very healthy and active. The Jumbo Cornish x Rocks were actually jumping out of the box on the way home!

LOL Samuels!

As Ace-King said, she's a Turkin or Naked Neck. They are awsome. Mine is one of my best layers, large brown eggs all through winter. Cold hardy too. But I was appalled when I got her in my order--she seemed so ugly. Now she is my favorite and I ordered two more this year!

I love Turkens! I wanted to order them when I was younger but my parents were against it they thought they were so ugly! But then I started raising them when I was old enough and had my own cash.

Now I am raising them again. Along with madagascar games. Turkens were developed from maddies and that drew me to buy that breed this year. Both breeds stand up to cold weather well and lay well. I won't go without some in my coop anymore.

PO called at 6:20 am and picked up chicks from MM. All 25 are doing well, eating drinking, etc.

3 golden polish
8 buff orpingtons
2 phoenix
9 barred rocks
3 black cochins

Rare free chick was a buff orpington rooster. Was under impression they didn't tell you what breed the rare free chick was, but they stated it right on the invoice. So much for the rare free chick guessing game.

So how are all the chickies doing now? Mine will be three weeks old tomorrow. After the initial lost of one black asutralorp who just didn't thrive after the whole shipping experience mine are growing, happy and strong. I'm going to have to move them to a larger area soon. I've also got 4 chicks from Ideal that are 3 days older than my MMH chicks. I've kept them separate just in case. Should I continue to keep them separate or is it safe at this point to move them in to the same area? They're all standard sized breeds and fairly close in size.

i ordered 25 baby chicks from mm on march 11,lost one in shipping and all 25 are doing great and getting bigger everyday my little babies are no longer little

We received our order from MM on April the 7th, 73 chicks total no DOA
have lost only 2 , that's Mother nature not MM. Have ordered in the past from them and will recommend and order from them again.. First order with Ideal to arrive in June , ordered from them only because they offered some that MM didn't. Hoping for the best with this order.
