McMurray's Rare and Exotic...

Is it a New Hampshire Red? I was looking at pics of my 3wk McMurray RIR's, and yours doesn't quite look like that. Mine feathered in darker than yours.

I see nothing in the rare and exotics that could possibly be your chick.

Anyway, here's a pic of a 20 day old RIR

Dang it, can't get the image to go tonight. It's late, I'm going to bed. Trying again in the morning

I really don't think it's a NH or RIR. I still keep trying to figure this one out and I'm just out of ideas....

I'm pretty sure it's not a Welsummer. None of mine [not from McMurray 'cause they don't have them] look like that at all. They're all a lot darker.
I'm gonna do some digging now. =]

We have single Comb brown leg horns from McMurray and they don't look like that. I will say that is a pretty chick

Thanks! I'm not sure if it is a male or a female even though that rogue sticker said "Cockerel" on it. I refer to it as "he" though. "He" doesn't like to be caught, but is pretty docile if he can just sit on your hand. I lift his wings or hold him to look at his underside and he gets a little upset. My Aussies aren't all quite that bad though.

could it be a speckled sussex? The rooster has some black and red in it. I'm so new that I am probably wrong but decided to guess. Jean
