I am mostly happy with them just wanting to flock around me and see what I am doing and not trying to touch them. But I admit at first I wanted them to really like me and be my buddy but they never did want to. We got them from really tiny puffballs and raised them from itty babies. and finally I gave up trying to be friends lol. Now I will say the very most friendliest of them all till they joined the flock was the silverlace girls I raised in my garage where I also lived. They still didn't like to be held, but they were quite curious about me and would often try to get on my bed, and one night I put something down so they couldn't poop on my bed and let them chillax on the bed with me lol
.
I know ,,,, the more you handle them, the more docile they turn. Years earlier, when a few neighborhood children used to come over and pet the chickens daily, my flock was friendly, and docile. Those children grew into adults now, and well, no longer come to pet the chickens. I do pet them but not as much as when there were many others to do such.

The feed store told my Dad that she was a Americauna.
Many feed stores call their Easter Eggers Americaunas. Mine was same, and not a pure Americauna. Easter eggers are not a true breed, but a varied combination, mixes, That is the reason they are not recognized as a breed in chicken shows.
What color egg does yours lay?
