No tutu! I just had the Superman tights, a cape crafted from Mom's curtains, a large kite like apparatus--- thirty foot down the roof of the chicken coop- run like h*ll into the wind- leap off the roof- SPLAT!

Chickens and feathers flying into all corners of the pen- gasping for air- I remember it well.

I still think it should have worked.

Wonder if they still have that coop at the old house? Hmmm.

But, it should have worked. At 5 years old, I bounced. I no longer bounce at 70.

We had actually tried it in the field in back of the house. I just figured that we needed more elevation. Wonder why the other kids wouldn't try it?
