Hey BYC Friends i was over my uncles yesterday so i took some pics of our chickens and what i found while i was there ....lol

This is Hammer Head, He keeps the hawk away

I was helping my uncle clean the backyard and i found a nest

Then found another nest, We thought this hen was dead we hadden seen her for about 2 weeks but i Found Her!..lol

Oh i know...she scared me tho cuz i was about to take the chairs up an she made that sound broody hens make an i jump back

The only thing I hate about my chickens free rangeing is that, The hens normally find a nice nesting stop and go broody in it, ahhhh Them sposts are like ,behind my air conditioner , and under the house, and in the woods. When they dont come back for a while I think they have gotten killed intill one day the pop themselves up for a little snack and back to the nest.
