meal worms! where do you get yours?

I give my 6 chickens dried meal worms as treat and a way to get them quickly back into the coop when I don't have time to chase them like a crazy person

haha I buy mine at Lowes they are $16.29 for 20 oz. (56799 g)

however they go thru them quickly at times and I was wondering if anyone else give your chickens worms and how much they are? also if anyone knows a cheap good deal to buy a lot of dried meal worms? does anyone grow their own live meal worms?

ps thank goodness summer is on its way!!! it was a horrible horrible winter

Lots of people here raise them, you should too! For the price of a container of two of dried mealworms you can be set up to grow all that you need. Read the links in the first post of this thread and you'll know all that you need to get started. Then ask any questions you might have there.
