Meal worms

How old should chickens be before they can be fed meal worms? Ours are almost 14 weeks old.

Go ahead, they are plenty old enough. I give grit and start mealworms by day 3 or 4 so you're good.

I’m no authority on chickens but mine are almost 9 weeks and I’ve been giving them meal worms for a few weeks and they seem to be happy and healthy. They like scratching around for the meal worms.

I wish my chickens would go crazy for mealworms like so many chickens do, they just stare at them and I end up putting the mealworms in my wild bird feeders

You're feeding the dry ones aren't you? Try some that are live and kicking, the wild birds won't get those. The wiggle makes them good.
