Meal Worms

I got meal worms today!!! I got all 3 stages and a lot of them and they were FREEEEE. My DH thinks I am crazy.

My chickens are going to love them.

I was at a teacher supply store and the lady had a 10 gal tank of them. I asked her how much they were and she said she was giving them away because she had to many. I was in complete shock. I have seen a tiny cup of them in a store for $4.00. Probably had 7 or 8 worms. Then I saw some dried ones. 1/2 lb. it was $25. She gave me a bunch of beetles, worms and pupas.

i buy about 30 of them for $4 every week. my girls love them. yours are gonna think they won the lotto.

They do!!! I am trying not to give them too many. I want to have a good colony. I have given them some though.
