hi! i've had mealworm farms before with the regular sized mealworms. i went to petsmart a month or so ago and bought 100 "regular" mealworms. then i bought 100 super sized mealworms. they are each in their own separate farms (2 boxes) and the regular mealworms are already turning into beetles....so that's good. but the super sized ones arn't doing anything as far as turning into beetles etc. can you breed the super sized ones? or are they genetically "strange" and can't breed for some reason? any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I don't think you can breed the super sized ones. I think I remember reading that on the big mealworm farming thread.

well, my girls will be happy tonight them! if ya can't breed em', might as well eat em'. thanks!!

haha! yup! They will be in chicken heaven!

I breed bugs for reptiles, sounds like you have super worms. They don't typically morph unless they run out of food. Very slow breeders!! But super yummy for the critters that munch them.
