Mealworm farming

Hmm..considering the relation between chickens and dinosaurs, I think I know why chickens adore the darn things....Seriously, does this look like a mealie, or what??

Well I just ordered my first 1k mealworms offline. I've bought the plastic tote I plan on keeping them in as well. Planning on lining it with wheat germ like I saw someone else in this thread do. Feeding veggies won't be a problem as I get them free from the local Albertsons. I'm hoping to do this as easy as possible so they'll all be mixed up in the one tote until they outgrow it. I thought I'd keep this in our bathroom. It's the bathroom we use (we don't use the tub so I might as well stick the tote in there). Will the humidity from our showers damage it.

I don't think that is a good combo. Humidity will lead to mold in the worms. A dry dark place is best.
