Yes, gone. I have no idea. Not a feather the other day and not a feather today. I'm thinking hawk since it was the younger birds but it could have been fox or coyote.

All these thousand of little meal worms and I'm gonna have to go out and BUY some! DH found the pile of feathers and a trail of feathers that leads us to believe it was a coyote or fox that got the chickens.

My girls are now in lockup. Grow wormies! GROW!!

So hard to lose them, I know. I only let mine out when I can keep an eye on them....otherwise, they have to stay in.

My shipment of meal worms actually shipped a week sooner than I expected. Luckily my wife was getting groceries yesterday, so she was able to get some oats and stuff while she was out (otherwise to run to town would be an extra 25 miles one way and I'd rather not do that just for one or two things).

We still don't have a permanent home for them, it had to be shipped because they didn't have it at our local store. So I'm hoping when the meal worms get here (according to tracking number, should be tomorrow) they can get by in the box they were shipped in for a few days until we are able to get their permanent home set up...
