Found your small vid on the coop you built for your son's chickens. Thoroughly enjoyed it! I remember my father, (who never built anything in his life before) built me a rabbit hutch for my pet rabbit. I remember going to the lumber yard with him, getting all the items, and standing over him while he built it. It was one of the best memories of my childhood. I love the pictures and the smiles of your family painting the coop, what beautiful smiles. That is what family is all about, blessing to you and your family, you are setting wonderful father images for your children!

We had a lot of fun building it, but have come to realize it is perfect for a grow pen, but we are indeed going to need to build a larger coop to house the adult birds. (i plan on having three varietys to hatch pure offspring anyway.) We are now working on a self watering system in that pen. My dad said why not just fill the waterer daily your watering system is taking longer to build when you already have a simple refillable waterer, but when i test the prototype on the small pen i can rebuild it on the big pen and fill 5 pens at once hell get it.
