Mealworms, Crickets, etc for supplement & treats question

I used to raise tree frogs and recently received an [email protected] on a deal for a company I used to use for crickets and mealworms. My flock of 16 has worn out all the grass in their run and was wondering besides scraps what else I could treat them with. Are crickets any good? Also I have heard mixed reviews on here about mealworms. Anyone have any non scrap treat suggestions and sites I can order from?

mine love crickets, we give them each about ten . we also give meal worms.

I feed my girls Black Soldier Fly larvae! I love using them because they eat all my waste foods and they self harvest themselves with this system I use. Check it out

We feed ours mealworms we buy from the feed store and they absolutely love them. They know the container the mealworms come in and come running when they see the container in our hands. I've thought about releasing crickets into their coop in winter so they can have treats and some amusement. I'm not sure how much crickets will move around when its that cold though. Ours find a lot of earthworms around here and love scratching around in anthills. They also kindly eat the mosquitoes right off of us!
