Mealworms for chicks?

I was wondering if it's ok for chicks to eat mealworms. I was planning on using them to train my 4-H show bird.

I am a first time chick mom. But have been giving worms since they were 3 days old back in mid December and so far so good. Great for training!

No worries, just be sure to provide them with grit

Hey! Kinda off topic, but is it ok to just give a chick sand in place of grit?

Sure, or you can just give them a dish with some dirt from your yard. They're pick the little pebbles out for grit and dust themselves in it
