hi there we trying to start growing our quails on completely natural feeds.
and our quail feed is far to low on protein, can we feed them mealworms as a protein supplement.

This is an old thread, you may want to start a new one. Welcome to BYC.

(I feed my adult quail mealworms, both dried and fresh. They love them and it seems to keep the hens productive.)

Mealworms are a too high in fat to be fed every day in significant quantities.
