Mealworms

Has anyone ever grown meal worms or super worms? Is it a lot of work?

It's not a LOT of work per say... but it's VERY slow turn around... I'm gonna give my set up away.

It's a fun project though and the chooks love meal worms.

I raise them! I started in March, and have thousands of tiny ones right now in my first "crop". I am also a new first-time chicken owner, but so far mealworms are their very favorite food! It is not a lot of work at all, and they reproduce exponentially, so my bluebirds and chickens will have plenty of live protein all year long.
