Mealworms

I'm confused about contradictory information about whether it's OK to feed chickens dried mealworms or not.

From what I have heard:
I would say that it depends where you leave, what you sell your meat or eggs as for the label, how natural you want to be, too much can be bad, etc. If you are looking at different websites you also have to look for you is sponsoring those websites, the information can be confusing because of this. Mealworms are raised for protein and eat off animal wastes in which they could transfer diseases.

Personally, I feed my flock dried mealworms. They love it! They don't get a lot because they would eat it all instead of their feed. I use it as a treat more during molting season.
