Mealworms

Is it ok to feed dried mealworms to chickens? I had been a few times a week, but I just read something saying it’s banned and not healthy?

Well it’s unhealthy if you feed it to them way too much. It’s like feeding a kid candy, too much can make them sick. If you give them mealworms all you have to do is make sure your giving it to them as a treat, don’t let them make it a meal. And welcome to BYC

and the chickens aren't going out on strike ? that would not work at my house...

"no bugs, no eggs" placards everywhere!

(in truth I give them only to the ducks and turkeys, because the chickens have the best bug digging feet I have ever seen, so I make them find their own bugs)
