Mean fantail. What to do?

One of my fantail cocks is running all the other birds off their nests. His hen is sitting on eggs (he doesn't help much) and he is trying to take over all the other nesting boxes. I locked him into his own box with his hen. Will this help? How long should I leave him in?

I had a cock like this he had to be kept in own cage otherwise he would deystroy eggs and injure birds I didn't want that in my line so I got rid of him. It might and Iwould wait until the eggs have hatched and the babies are a week old.
