Hey guys, I just bought my first trio of coturnix yesterday! One tuxedo, one white, and one "normal". However when I got home, the female tuxedo (I know it's a female for sure, the owners and I both sexed them like 5 times) started to peck the poor little male! Now his beak is slightly bloody and I've moved her out into her own cage.
But she doesn't pick on the other female, so I was wondering what on earth the male has done to piss this little gal off! Should I just keep her isolated for a few days before moving her back in to see how things go?
On a brighter note, here are the little buggers!!! I named the white male Popcorn, the tuxedo Crackers, and the normal female Pretzel
Yeah, I'm kinda into food names. My cat is named Nugget, and my rabbit is named Peanut!
