Mean gander

Hi, my gander Flo is quite mean. He's very nice to my goose Dandelion but he is constantly hissing at me. He never tried to bite me yet...
Is this just a thing for young ganders or will he always be like this?

Right now it's breeding season, and hormones are high. Most will calm down later in the year.

Mine is the same. He was pleasant up until a few months ago. He hisses at everything, charges everything and I have been biten a bunch of times. I have just accepted it. We argue everyday...has become my norm at this point. I love him so....it is what it is.
