Is the chick hurting her flockmates? If not, leave her be......She is establishing the pecking order, even at such a young age. I would definitely put her back in and keep a close eye one her behavior. Lone chicks do not thrive. Good luck!I have a week old chick that attacks the eyes of her flockmates. I separated her but now she is all alone and showing signs of depression. Any suggestions?

Yes, she does hurt them by grabbing on to the tissue around their eyes. There is no doubt she is chasing them down and attacking. She is in a makeshift box with little holes in order to see her flockmates. Is the chick hurting her flockmates?
