Mean Hen

My original flock is 2 Astrolorps, 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Buff Orpington, and 1 hen of dubious lineage(sold to me as Buff Orpington, but is red with a white tail and belly). They are all hens and 2 years old. About 6 weeks ago I was given 3 Silkie/ Cochin mixes. After the usual separation by a fence I added the new chickens to the flock. They have been accepted by all, but the red and white hen. She won’t allow them out of their hiding spot to eat or drink. If I separated her for a week or so, would she be more accepting when I release her?
