Mean Isa Brown Rooster- At wits end!!!!

midget_farms- Thank you for letting me know the nature of hens. I often want to think of them as being pets, like dogs or cats and you have to seperate them. And maybe since the roo is gone, they have to restablish themselves. The ones that were picked on by the roo, mainly 2 of them, she still chases the little red hen and the other one away from the feeder.
Yesterday, and I know its from the one who lost most of her feathers, had an egg as thin as paper. Because she isnt getting enough food, and she has lost some weight. She is the redest Isa Brown, my little red hen. And she has always been pecked on. She is the one, that when we got home with the hens, had some dried blood on the side of her head. I guess she has been pegged from the start. But when the roo started pecking on the other big hen, I am a bit confused on that one. Maybe she was protecting the little red hen, from the roo? Because she starting to get pecked on before he left.
