Mean stinkin roosters....

I noticed tonight that 2 of my roos (leghorns) are chasing my 3 red star pullets away from being able to get into the coop.... Usually I try to leave the pecking order alone, but they were trying to get to shelter, big storm just hit. I stood out there and shooed the roos away and eventually my girls got in, and they are now fussing amongst themselves, but no violence..... I think I know the answer, I think I have to move the roos, I know I have too many (4roos, 7 pullets total) but is there anything else I can do?

WAY too many boys. Bad ratio..

1 Roo would be best for that small amount of ladies.

Remove (rehome/eat) most if not all of all of the cockerels. Unless you plan on hatching you do not need any of them.

I must agree with centrachid. The socially frustrated among us have gone from conflating or confusing children with chickens to condemning poor innocent roosters.
