Mean stinkin roosters....

What is history of the two roosters and the pullets? Age and where they raised together? Men hating club may be jumping the gun on this one.
I got 8 leghorns on March 24, then 4 red stars on May 1, so the leggies were already established, the reds are the newbies

I actually found an old chicken coop and run on the property we just bought, and I am going to fix it up and it's going to be a bachelor pad. I just can't bear the thought of losing my boys!!!!! First time with chickens, and I am basically doing everything wrong..... Oh well, I'm learning!!!

There ya go!
Wish I had one of those about now,
have 6 cockerels a bit too young to slaughter but already causing discord.

Really good idea I keep an extra chicken in their own run right next to the main run where she can interact but keep separate she thinks she's a rooster bc of damage as a pullet so she is mean but nice to me so excellent, keep your babies and protect at the same time!

Thus not a rooster problem. It is older juveniles repelling younger of another social group. Male bashing not warranted in this situation.
I promise I'm not REALLY male bashing. Well, not without merit. I SHOULD have researched more about leghorns before I got them. Absolutely MY fault and not my birds. But my birds really are not friendly, they aren't mean, otherwise I wouldn't have them, and so I should have named this thread differently for sure.... "Possible Over-territorial Roosters" would be better. But I was irritated that I had to stand in the yard (in the rain..... With lightening) and chase roos away to let the reds get to the coop. So, I was ONLY a male basher for a minute..... Lol
