My sister and her family are in the UP at their cabin. I'm taking care of their rabbits this week. It's making me very glad that I have heated water buckets for my chickens, I wouldn't deal with having to go out in the cold all the time to thaw water bowls

A nice fire going in the wood stove is making me happy today. It was 19°F this morning, now 32, feels like 30°.

The plow guy sanded our driveway, which allowed my husband to go out and procure tacos. We were also fortunate to not lose power in the ice storm.
