Here is Henny Penny, my Barred Rock ( she is broody like every other week - WAY more than any of my silkie hens ) on 10 mutt duck eggs that I gave her March 3rd. So far they are all growing, so I guess her determination will definitely pay off! She is sweet though, well to me anyway. She cusses me in chicken language but never pecks when I go to check for other hens eggs or candle.......
