Hi everyone!!
We already have about 45 laying hens that free range all day on our 5 acres and a nice stationary coop for them, but we're looking to get some meat birds soon. Need opinions on a few things... chicken tractor or a large stationery coop w/run? Grow enough chickens for the year in one setting or 12 or so at a time? Cornish X best breed? Can we really not put their eggs in the incubator and hatch? Any advice is great!

The great thing about chicken tractors is that there is no pen to clean and the chickens have access to fresh grass and bugs whenever you move it. The down side is that you are always moving their water and feed as well. I guess the answer to this question depends on how large a flock you anticipate.
I really like this one because it makes such good use of space.
