That is where is get my meat chicks from, I love the birds they have !! Not one issue with their meat birds so farMoyer's sells cornishX and colored broiler hatching eggs. Moyerschicks
That is no doubt the best way, anytime I have a broody I let her set.I think we had a very good experience with fertile eggs. After hearing about some of the disappointments I am thinking we were just quite lucky. I bought 12 eggs off etsy, didn't let them rest at all and placed them under broody. All 12 hatched and made it to 13 weeks. Only ones to not survive were the cockerels. Lol
It was soooo much easier than having the brooder in the house. We didn't have to worry about integrating. And we loved watching mama hen with the babies!! We just decided that was the best way for us to have chicks.

I had a horrible experience with the white leghorn hatching eggs they sell. None hatched, very few developed. I still love the meat chicksThe meat chicks I got from them arrived happy and healthy. I've ordered quite a few hatching eggs from them as well. I'm close enough that they always arrive within 24 hours of being shipped, and I've had really good hatch rates. But they used to be $22 a dozen including shipping, I see the price has gone up this year.![]()
