Hi guys 1st time on the site. my brother & i are getting started in the chicken world while i have had chickens off and on most of my life this is the first time really trying to max the production of the birds. We have black giants & black australorps while these seem to be great egg producers the older stock seems narrow chested. so after searching the web I seen that Cornish breeds fill out quickly & taste great but are smaller 2.5 to 3.5 lbs. So after all that here is the question. Has anyone tried a giant or larp cornish cross & if so what were they like? in a dream world they would be large fast filling heavy meat birds. But I realize its prob not that easy. thanks for the help guys I look forward to the responses.
