meat ducks?

I personaly never raised duck's for meat but...I did sell some "breeder" pekin's to a well "un named" self so called self sufficient comm. for meat.It wasn't Amish either they bought 45 ducklings for their community pond and I can visit.I said what you do with egg's /offspring I can't control.I guess some people like to eat duck I dunno never ate one.I have heard the meat is greasy etc.I think basic Pekin are what is processed for resteraunts/store sales .They do grow really fast etc.Keeping my pooper scooper and snorkel mask handy I got 29 quackers on the ground again Baaaaaaaaa.

Live, we used to de-feather for an additional $2.00 (just to cover the propane and electric), but that's more work then it's worth! Our male muscovies go for $25.00 live too

Even with the slower growth rate, I find that I enjoy raising the muscovies over the pekins. They're calmer and much quiter
