Meat rabbit hutch.

I think three rabbits would fit fine, but you'll have to be very careful that they don't fight. Rabbits aren't very social and they can really do a lot of damage to each other! However, you might be able to split that cage up if you need to in an emergency. If not, I would plan to have an extra couple cages on hand in case the trio doesn't work out.

I think 3 would be fine. I agree with Chickerdoodle13 and make sure that they don't fight. Do you plan on keep it on the ground or placing it on top of something? That would be difficult to bend down all the time to water and feed.

It'll be on the ground, shouldn't be too much bending over right? I'll get the kids to do most of it. My daughter says its fine as long as we only eat the babies, lol.

From what I've read, rabbits in colonies have little scraps from time to time, but as long as there is space and places to hide, they soon calm down and live happily.

The side parts, of the hutch are easily removed. So I'll be able to separate them if it does get out of hand.

Not too keen on meat rabbits kept in the small breeder cages, a neighbor of mine lets his females run around in a stable, and doesn't have any problems. I'm going to try in the hutch and if they don't get along then it's plan B

Thanks a lot.

Yep, that sounds fine then. Some people I know keep multiple rabbits together and they are fine. As long as you have a back up plan in case they start fighting, it should work out. I have noticed that rabbits who grow up together often get along better. You might want to look into getting litter mate does and an unrelated buck.

Usually I plan on each rabbit having their own cage. Even if they were raised together, they might decide to start fighting so its best to have a cage ready to separate them if need be.

Have a good day!
