I was planning to process this guy tomorrow, but today I let him out to have his Last Run and when I went to collect him, he suddenly couldn’t use his back legs. He did seem stiff when I let him out yesterday and today, and yesterday he got into a fight with his cage mate.

Is there anything that would cause paralysis that would render him inedible? All the information I see with googling is about treating the paralysis in pet rabbits.

Thank you!

Edit to add: it appears he was in GI stasis. The 4th was a couple days ago so that may have caused it. He didn’t have any signs of internal organ damage or parasites, but his digestive system was VERY full. Poor guy.

Thank you! I did dress him and feel comfortable eating the meat. I used a rabbit wringer so I’m not sure I could get a definitive diagnosis on a back break prior to butchering.
