Meat spots in the egg

why do you not incubate eggs with meat spots???

they are probably not fertile but i can't say for sure cuz im pretty new to the whole hatching thing anyway.

Whats a meat spot and how would you know if an egg had one if you don't crack it open? Just never heard of this before. Thanks in advance.

when you candle the eggs before you put it in to incubate...you look for a dark spot somewhere in the egg...you can sometimes see them...i was just asking cause one of eggs that i put in to incubate has a meat spot and it grew and everything but i did not even consider the possibility that the meat spot may cause a deformity in the duckling...the duckling is hatching next week...well it should anyways
