Any BYC'ers out there ever purchased either the blacks, browns, or white IDEAL meaties?? What was the outcome and experiences with them? Bottom line... Would you recommend them?

Any pics would be nice...

I have gotten the cornish crosses from Ideal three years in a row and have really liked them. I fed them game bird feed and they plumped right up. I usually butcher at 6-7 weeks. If any of them developed leg troubles they went to the freezer early.

yumm! im boosting you up. i would like to hear about their meaties too!

I have 26 standard Dark Cornish from Ideal that are growing nicely in my meat tractor right now. They are healthy, strong, and look great.

I know that isn't everyone's idea of a meat bird, but it is good enough for me. They are going to be meat in my house, anyway.

Tad,
Which of the meaties are you getting? Cornish Rocks, Black or Brown Broilers?
