I took my hen to the vet when her crop wasn't draining properly a couple months ago. $100 later and we walked out with Metoclopramide 5mg suspension. Given every 8 hours for a week and she was right back to normal. After a stay at a friends house for a week, she has it again (must've been dining on long grasses again). I called to get a refill and of course, not without another $100 visit! Anyone know where I can get more or something else that works for slow crop? She's wiggling her neck again like something is stuck. I have enough of the med for this round-but am worried about the future and not having anything on hand.

Not sure for chickens but I was told to use apple cider vinegar mixed with water and forse feed for my baby pigeon that have the same situation.... and I got some improvement. ...
