I now have 1 (out of 5) of my chickens laying eggs. Since the chicks came home they have been on medicated feed. I looked it up, and the concensus is that the eggs from medicated feed hens are edible. I have a bag and a half (large) left of medicated crumble. Should I continue with this feed? Should I see if my TSC will exchange the unopened bag?

Are all 5 pullets close to laying? If so, I would see if you can exchange the unopened bag. If it were me, I would use up the open bag and start mixing it in with the feed you are transitioning them to.

Thank you. I think so. They are all the same breed and age. I did return it, with no problem. 🙂
