I'm not sure, I live in Texas though. I've being going organic with almost all fruits and veggies and thought it would be nice to have it for the chickens as well. But my plans of going almost all 'green' wont work..

I have been informed by a much more experienced person from Mississippi the the feed store lady gave me false information!

This is not the first time I've heard of such a thing happening.
