I'm getting ready to pick up another bag of starter feed for my 8 week olds. They've been on Purina medicated and I'll be getting Kalmbach, should I continue using medicated for the next 50 lbs or not? Also, how long should I keep them on starter? It seems some people keep them on it forever and some switch to layer when they start seeing eggs. So confusing! Suggestions?

Did you notice that the Topic of the Week covers this question?

There are lots of opinions covered, good advice here...
As for myself, I feed all chickens of all ages an all-flock feed. I have therefore not used medicated myself.
