medicated start and grow from purina..HELP

my baby chicks are like pooping machines and it is the most RANK smelling mushy crap I have ever seen. Our other batch of baby chicks didn't have this! I didn't feed them the medicated start and grow from purina though.....just starter feed it was called.

Is there something I don't know? I am a new chick owner, so any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm guessing different lines of food have different smells when they are turned into poop. We've always used the same starter so not sure about chickens. One thing I have noticed is chick poop smells alot worse with higher humidity levels. Last time we had baby chicks, we had 8 chicks in the house with our wood stove running. There was almost nothing for a smell. Now we have 3 chicks and they smell alot worse.

yeah def. wet chicken poop smells like poop... LOL
