Medicine Emergency?

She is a OEGB. So, she is about a pound an a quarter. They never said. They just said that she might have Osteoporosis because in her femur that connects to her body over the time the calcium has deteriorated. They said to give her Vitamins but they never suggested if I do it forever or just for a period of time. She is a healthy bird. She eats and drinks and does everything a normal chicken does. She has trouble walking. She is a very spoiled chicken. So, I just want her to be ok.

About 3,000 IU/day then, is my best guess. Can you contact them and ask about whether it should be an ongoing treatment?

I hope she recovers. I definitely understand the love for OEGbs.

Oh. I never knew that. Her food has to be crumbled up. She won’t it if it’s big. If it’s too big for her. I have to crush it for her to eat it.
She’ll tear a watermelon up though.
