Medicine for chicken

I am absolutely petrified to shove my finger in my chickens mouth to give her the two pills the vet prescribed her. (She had a non cancerous tumor on her foot and needed it removed). She’ll be on the medicine for the next two weeks. I’ve tried wrapping in in cheese, grapes, watermelon, strawberries… she’ll eat it on her own if it wasn’t for I assume the taste because she spits it back out.

Anyone have any tips or tricks to give her the medicine.

Maybe crush it and make put it in yogurt my chickens love yogurt

It is something that sounds harder than it is, and gets easier the more you do it. You may feel afraid that you will choke her, but she'll take it down herself when you put it back there. Maybe folks describing their methods could help?
