What can I buy from stock feed shops to give my chickens. And how often. I'm still learning about mine but I'm not sure what to give them. E.g.: lice treatment how often. Vitamins how often I wanna have healthy chooks please help.

I have on stock lots of medicine but if your just talking about a maintance to keep them healthy here is what I give . first apple cider vinegar with the mother in it. I give one week a month because its very acidic. Also I give a probotic to replace beneficial bacteria in there systems
I buy mine online and its called probios. Chicks can use it too! Then I got a series of vitamins from first state vet online because the vitimans he sells are lower in sodium and more readily absorbed into the
body. I use a B mixture called vita pro B. I also give a supplement of amino acids mixed with replamin and iron. all from first state vet. I would not give thereplimen and amino to young chicks. Only the vitapro B. I also give a supplement of E vitamin on the food. That is OK also for young chicks. So basically I would give young chicks the probotic anda good mixture of B vitamins. And E. Also theapple cider vinegar once a month.I raised my chicks with these things and I've been very blessed with healthy chicks that are now healthy pullets and hens thank God! I also have several medicines on hand in case of a emergency. Like corid for cocci and tylan50 and baytril for respiratory illness. along with several water soluble medications. I also have calcium glutenate for egg binding and a general antibiotic LA200 for other infections in my emergency kit. It might be a good thing to have a emergency kit invade this way you can start treatment as soon as possible. I hope all this helps. This is just what I do for my birds.good luck and God bless.
